When this aging stone house arrived in our hands, its characterful shell had long since lost its purpose. The clients sought a space that felt both inviting for everyday living and inspiring for small gatherings. Our goal was to honor the original structure’s sturdy bones while weaving in contemporary design principles—light, openness, and seamless indoor-outdoor flow.

Preserving the existing pitched roof and select stone walls, then inserting large glazing panels to flood interiors with natural light.

Transforming the central courtyard into a reflective pool area that defines gathering zones and introduces a tranquil focal point.

Introducing a white rooftop terrace for al fresco dining, balanced by warm timber ceilings and minimalist furnishings.
